Coventry gets another Polish connection

Coventry airport recieved some welcome news as it was announced that Wizz air will begin a service to Gdansk, Poland in March 2008.
The service will operate three times a week and comes after a successful summer season for the Coventry Katowice route operated by Wizz
since July 2007. The flights to Gdansk will operate Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and begin in time for the Easter holidays.
Gdansk, also known as Danzig, it's German name is situated in the North of Poland on the Baltic Sea. It is the sixth-largest city in Poland,
and serves as that nation's principal seaport.
Some staff at Coventry airport have been having Polish lessons as Wizz already flies to Coventry three times a week from
Katowice.
