Ibiza - The small island with the big reputation!
The Island of Ibiza is most famously known for its summer parties, with thousands of people flooding in for the big summer club nights. Famous clubs include Space, Pacha, Privilege(ex Ku), Amnesia, Eden and Es Paradis. They are hosts to parties of international fame such as Cream, Manumission, etc. It is also home to the 'West End' party district of Sant Antoni, a rite of passage for many partygoers. There’s much more to this sunny isle than the clubs and bars of San Antonio and Ibiza Town. A land peppered with historic sights, fascinating museums and exciting attractions, Ibiza is ringed by more than 60 beaches where porcelain-white sands slide seductively into glistening waters. Small enough so you’re never more than an hour’s drive away from any part of the island, but with enough room for hardcore clubbers and peace-seeking sun worshippers to exist in perfect harmony, this sunny slice of paradise really has got it all.
To and from Ibiza airport
The airport is 7km from Ibiza Town. Buses depart to Ibiza Town every hour between 0700 and 2235. The journey takes approx 30 mins and the fare is just €1
Taxis are available from the terminal forecourt.
It is advisable to book a rental car in advance. Even then, the queues can be long and slow-moving, but since the rental booths are in the baggage hall, a good trick is to send someone to sort out the car while you wait for the baggage.
